It’s Christmas,1183 with drama and comedy afoot. The Plantagenet family is getting together to fight over a kingdom and a beautiful teen-age paramour. As Queen Eleanor says, “Every family has its ups and downs”, and this royal family is no exception. King Henry retorts “It’s going to be a jungle of a day: if I start growling now, I’ll never last.” Eleanor and Henry’s three juvenile sons are vying and scheming for the crown, willing to do anything to get it, whilst a likewise young King of France skulks around the castle in order stirring the pot of their discontent.
