Thanks once again to the crew at Studio Theatre and the support of independent film lovers our community theatre recently presented yet another generous donation to the Perth Library. Funds are raised through ticket sales and driven by the hard work of volunteers who light the lights, sell the snacks, and keep the projector humming.
Erika Heeson, Library CEO, expressed heartfelt thanks on behalf of the Library, sharing that close to $18,000 has been raised by Studio Theatre Perth since film showings began in Sept 2023. That money is being put to excellent use: the 2023 and 2024 donations were used to revitalize the Library’s Common Room- complete with updated lighting, fresh cabinetry, and new technology that supports hybrid meetings and presentations. The most recent 2025 donation is earmarked for renovations to the library’s upstairs kitchenette, enhancing the functionality of the large upstairs meeting room that hosts an array of community programs and gatherings.
