SHANE BELANGER
BLACKSMITH ARTIST
Retiring from a career in building science, Shane started blacksmithing as therapy. Therapy evolved over the years to artisan markets and gallery exhibits. Shane is the blacksmith artist at Gaibhnithe Studio located in the Lanark Highlands.
Shane’s visual work is forged with recycled steel, metals, and live edge woods found locally in Lanark Highlands.
From his Whales, Sea creatures, Sail boats and steel vessels, all Shane’s work is unique and definitely one of a kind.
