Audition Details:

Audition Dates	Thursday February 26th at 7 pm Friday February 27th at 7pm Callbacks: Monday February 28th, 10am-12pm
Location	At Studio Theatre
How to Audition	There is no reason to book an appointment. Please attend the audition on one of the available dates, in time to begin promptly at the start time of 7 PM. The stage door will open at 6:40. The audition will be comprised of two parts: a brief full group session from 7-7:30, followed by an individual ‘cold read’ using text related to the play. There is no reason to prepare anything for the audition. Come able to stay for at least an hour.

Play	The Play That Goes Wrong by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer & Henry Sheilds
About the Play	This piece is a fast-paced play within a play, and a celebration of the perseverance of amateur thespians. This challenging show requires a high level of physical fitness on the part of the actors, with an ability to master farce-style choreography and slapstick. These elements are combined with technical gags (doors, walls, set pieces) to create the illusion of chaos through precise and safe control.

Cast required	6 MALES between ages 30 and 70 2 FEMALES between ages 20 and 70
Time Commitment	Rehearsals will be Sundays- May 17th-June 30th, 1-5pm Tuesdays & Thursdays – March 31st to mid-April Mondays & Wednesdays – mid-April to June 30th (no rehearsals on Easter Sunday/Monday, Mothers’ Day, Victoria Day or Canada Day)
Performances	July 2nd-12th, 2026
