| About the Play | This play is based on the serialization of the story by Dashiell Hammett It’s a “radio-style” play that takes us back to the 1940s in San Francisco with recogizable characters SamSpade – a Femme Fatale – detectives – villains – where mystery and intrigue, murder and mayhem are definately involved! |

| Cast required | 6 Males (20 yr old punk, 30-40 yr old, others may be any age) Actors may be any race, age or sex but must be able to portray as described and directed. Cast of Characters include – Narrator, Sam Spade, Effie Perine, Brigid OShaughnessy, Miles Archer, Detective Tom Polhaus, Lt. Dundy, Iva Archer, Freed, Joel Cairo, Wilmer Cook, Luke, Casper Gutman, Bryan, Captain Jacobi |
| Time Commitment | Rehearsal period March 2 – April 28 (2 x weekly -Wed evenings 6-9 pm and Sunday afternoons 1-4:30) |
| Performances | 8 performances – Opening Thurs April 30 and runs to May 10 (Thur /Fri nights, Sat / Sun Matinees) |
