Two One Act Plays

Audition Dates

Monday July 21 and Wednesday July 23 – 6:30 pm

Location

At Studio Theatre through the stage door.

How to Audition

A short monologue prepared by the actor is a required part of these auditions.

These auditions will be video-taped for the purposes of review in the casting process.

Play	A LITTLE SOMETHING FOR THE DUCKS by Jean Lenox Toddie
Director/Designer	Marilyn Nicholas-Dahan
Production dates	Able to perform four performances October 16 to 19 PLUS perform and attend the Eastern Ontario Drama League EODL One-Act Festival inMerrickville, Ontario Friday, November 7 (evening) to Sunday, November 9 at 1 pm.
Cast required	2 actors – 1 male and 1 female – playing age late 70’s Actors may be any race, age or sex but must be able to portray as described and directed.

Play	SMOKE & MIRRORS by John Kenny
Director/Designer	Joanna McAuley Treffers
Production dates	Able to perform four performances October 16 to 19 PLUS perform and attend the Eastern Ontario Drama League EODL One-Act Festival inMerrickville, Ontario Friday, November 7 (evening) to Sunday, November 9 at 1 pm.
Cast required	5 actors – 4 males: ages mid 70s, mid 30s, mid-40s double-role,mid-50s double-role AND 1 female “middle-aged”, double-role. Actors may be any race, age or sex but must be able to portray as described and directed.
