The Life of Chuck tells the story of an ordinary man’s extraordinary life—told entirely in reverse. Beginning at the end of the world, we watch as reality itself unravels alongside the final days of Charles “Chuck” Krantz, a man dying of a brain tumor. With each chapter, we move backward through time—first seeing Chuck embrace joy in the face of death, then glimpsing his youthful passions, and finally arriving at the small, tender moments of his childhood that shaped everything. Adapted from Stephen King’s novella, Mike Flanagan’s film trades horror for wonder, weaving a heartfelt meditation on mortality, memory, and the beauty of a life well-lived.
