Supporting Your Community Theatre

Be it drama or comedy, music or dance, the Studio Theatre provides a place for the community to play. Musicians love the theatre’s intimate, club-like atmosphere. Local directors and actors love the stage and the variety of plays we put on every year – from well-known and well-loved classics and cutting edge theatre.

Dozens of people from our community volunteer for each event, selling coffee, playing host, building sets or working back stage, sharing in the experience of a successful piece of entertainment. But all of this could not happen without the support of donors and sponsors who want to be part of keeping our little theatre an active and vibrant part of the community arts scene. Please consider making a donation now or when renewing your Studio Theatre subscription.

Studio Theatre Donor Levels

$10 - $49 Donor
Tax Receipt for the full amount of your donation over $10.

Places Please $50 - $149
Tax Receipt for the full amount of your donation, an invitation to our annual Donor Event, and acknowledgement in the House Program.

Front Row $150 - $249
Tax Receipt for the amount* of your donation, an invitation to our annual Donor Event, and acknowledgement in the House Program, plus up to two tickets to any Studio Theatre Productions play (concerts not included).

Centre Stage $250 - $499
Tax Receipt for the amount* of your donation, an invitation to our annual Donor Event, acknowledgement in the House Program, and up to four tickets to Studio Theatre Productions plays of your choice (concerts not included).

Standing Ovation $500 - $999
Tax Receipt for the amount* of your donation, an invitation to our annual Donor Event, acknowledgement in the House Program and up to six tickets to Studio Theatre Productions plays of your choice (concerts not included).

Directors Circle $1000 + Up
Tax Receipt for the amount* of your donation, an invitation to our annual Donor Event, acknowledgement in the House Program and up to eight (8) tickets to Studio Theatre Productions plays of your choice (concerts not included) and eight (8)refreshment vouchers for use at our Snack Bar.

*Please Note: If you choose to receive tickets and refreshment bar vouchers, we are required by law to reduce the amount of the Tax Receipt issued by $22  per ticket and $1.50 per refreshment bar voucher.

Businesses: Advertising and Sponsorship

Program Advertising

For each play put on by Studio Theatre Productions, we give out a program to our audience where businesses can place advertisements. These full colour business-card sized ads reach hundreds of people over the run of a play. Not only are these ads a good buy at $50 per production; they are an effective advertising tool that promotes your business and your community involvement at the same time.

Website Advertising

Our website receives hundreds of hits every week and you can advertise on it too. You can place your link with a logo, slogan or description of your service on our site for just $50 a year.

Sponsorship

Your business can also sponsor a performance, a play, an event or a whole season and raise its profile in the community considerably. Sponsorship is considered advertising so you can deduct the full amount of the sponsorship amount from your taxes each year. Sponsors are prominently displayed in our lobby at each performance and in the house programme given out at every performance.
